Terms of Use

ORDER NOTICE & DELIVERY TIMES:


Plate It Forward Catering is available Monday to Friday (with other days on request by emailing [email protected]).
For deliveries, orders must be placed before 2pm and before 4pm for pick-ups: 
    •    Morning & Afternoon tea: 72 hours before your delivery date 
    •    Lunch Buffets: 72 hours before your delivery date
    •    Canapes: two weeks before your delivery date 
    •    Curry-chuterie boards: 48 hours before your delivery date
Orders can be delivered between 9.00am and 3.00pm, Monday to Friday (and other days on request). We are allowing one order per time slot. Therefore, customers won't be able to place an order on the website if it exceeds this number per time slot. 


ORDER CONFIRMATION & MODIFICATION: 


Once an order has been placed a notification is sent to Plate It Forward. A team member from Plate It Forward will then accept your order notifying you via email or phone. At this stage you will be notified if any further charges apply. Only once you have this notification is your order confirmed. Payment will be processed when your order is confirmed.
Orders can be changed on the website minimum five days before the delivery/pick up date.  After this date guest number can increase with at least 72 hours notification. However, they can not decrease from the original number booked. 


DELIVERY COSTS & MINIMUM SPEND:


Our minimum spend is $500 inc GST. 
Standard delivery fee is $50 for all deliveries within a 15-kilometre radius of Moore Park. An additional charge applies if deliveries are made on Saturday (1.5x) and Sunday (2x). For outer-lying suburbs, please email us at [email protected] to see if we can make it possible. 


ORDER CANCELLATIONS & REFUND:


Cancellation charges will apply once your order has been confirmed and paid in full. If your order is cancelled within 72 hours of your delivery, your order will not be refunded.
If your order is cancelled with more than 72 hours’ notice, and less than five business days you will receive a 50% refund of your total order.

DELAYS ON YOUR DELIVERY:


In the event that we are delayed due to unforeseen circumstances we will notify you straight away. 


MENU SELECTIONS & CONFIRMATION:


All food and beverage menus and selections are subject to change due to seasonality and availability of produce. If a substitution needs to be made a member of Plate It Forward team will provide options and get client approval prior to making a change.
A minimum amount of guests/quantity of items may apply to some orders or menu items. Should your anticipated numbers reduce, Plate It Forward reserves the right to apply the minimum as outlined in the menu.


STAFF HIRE: 


If you would like your event/function to be serviced, you can select the option when ordering. Please note that for canapes event, staff is required. Your order won’t be confirmed if staff hasn’t been selected. Should your anticipated number of staff not sufficient, Plate It Forward reserves the right to charge additional staff members. 
Staff rates are charged $40/hour per staff member. Any additional hours worked by the staff at your event as a result of changes to the planned run of events, equipment at venue, hired in or supplied by client or by circumstances out of our control will be charged to the client post event.
Booking of any staff must be made 7 days ahead of any event. Cancellation of any staff must be made 5 days prior to event to receive full removal of fees. 


EQUIPMENT HIRE: 


We are providing food only. Should the client require additional equipment (cutlery, crockery, plates, etc.), Plate It Forward would charge the service back to the client for the hiring service. 


DIETARY & ALLERGENS:


Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat. Please consider this when requesting special dietary requirements.
Plate It Forward can accommodate most dietary requirements but do need to be given advance warning. All dietary requirements are to be provided in writing prior to your catering event day and is not confirmed until Plate It Forward team has accepted it can be accommodated. 


PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS: 


Payment is required in full upon ordering. We accept credit card or direct debit which are charged up front. 
Invoices can also be issued with a 50% deposit on acceptance and the remaining balance to be paid one week prior. Credit applications can be made for regular clients with invoices issued the date of event with 7-day payment terms.
